Our PhD student, Josielle, together with Prof. Camilla, are participating in the Gordon Research Conference Metals in Medicine 2024 in Andover, MA, USA 🇺🇸.

Josielle presented her work in the form of a panel and oral flash presentation about her doctoral research that involves the syntheses of asymmetric complexes of N-heterocyclic carbenes with Au(I) containing nitro groups (NO2) as leishmanicidal agents.

Our student had her presentation honored by several researchers in the field from various countries around the world!
