Saulo Quintana Gomes

Ph.D. in Science and Mathematics Education

Ph.D. in Science and Mathematics Education (2021) from the Multiunit Graduate Program in Science and Mathematics Education (PECIM) at the State University of Campinas (Unicamp), with a focus on exploring the connections between culture and science education. Holds a master’s degree in inorganic chemistry (2017) with a specialization in Coordination Chemistry and Bioinorganic Chemistry, and a bachelor’s and teaching degree in chemistry from the same university. Participated in an academic exchange program at Friedrich-Schiller-Universität-Jena in Jena, Germany, during undergraduate studies. More recently, during the Ph.D., engaged in an academic exchange program at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität-Freiburg in Freiburg, also in Germany. Currently works as a chemistry teacher at the Waldorf Veredas Associative School in Campinas and at the Paulínia Technical School (ETEP).
